This shared-use facility is comprised of Scott Collegiate High School, a child care facility, city community centre, public library branch, and community policing centre.
Mechanical System Description
Mâmawêyatitân Centre (North Central Shared Facility) utilizes a DOAS, dedicated air-handling units to provide ventilation to each zone. Heating is provided through radiant in-floor heating supplied by high-efficiency condensing boilers with primary and secondary pumping for a high temperature loop and a low temperature loop. Cooling is provided through radiant in-floor cooling supplied by a dual temperature chilled water system that supplies warmer chilled water to the in-floor cooling and colder chilled water to the air-handler cooling coils.
Innovative & Sustainable Design
LEED certification still pending (late application); low-flow plumbing fixtures, high efficient boiler plant. Energy model better than MNECB by XX%.
